Coming and Going
This will be explained on your first visit. Don’t worry. But, in brief:
Without arriving too early, park outside the bottom gate where Cami de Son Malero meets Cami de Son Pillo (see location map). Park sensibly, to the right, do not obstruct the road.
If you can see a padlock on the gate, the field is vacant and ready for your use. Keeping your dog(s) in the car, unlock the padlock using the code provided, and manually slide the gate open. Drive inside, turn your car to face the way of departure, park on the gravel, slide the gate shut, and secure from the interior using the same padlock. This is for you and your dog(s) peace of mind. Now you can set your dog(s) free!
If you cannot see a padlock on the gate, the field is in use. Keep your dog(s) in the car and wait for the previous customer to open the gate. To avoid any dangerous reversing manoeuvres, there is space on the field for you to drive in before they drive out – this is important. Once inside, turn your car to face the way of departure and park on the gravel. Make sure they hand you the padlock. Slide the gate closed and secure from the inside.
To ensure a prompt finish, have your dog(s) back inside your vehicle a few minutes before the end of your session. If there is someone waiting to come in, make space for them to drive in before you drive out – hand over the padlock.
If you arrive on foot, please keep your dog(s) on a lead until safely inside with the gate padlocked closed.
Poop
Pick poop up and use the bin provided (we’ll show you where at induction).
We have spare poop bags.
(Take human litter home.)
General
We cannot allow more than two cars per booking – preferably just one – as it creates traffic problems.
The Olive Fields is fitted with security cameras.
You may encounter unfamiliar bugs, beasts and bushes – which could negatively impact you and your dog(s). Enter The Olive Fields with this in mind.
The ground could be uneven, muddy or slippery – so wear appropriate footwear.
To protect other users, all vaccinations/worming/flea treatments must be up to date.
You are liable for any damage caused to The Olive Fields. If you see any damage, please report it.
Cars, and their contents, are parked at the owner’s risk. The Olive Fields is not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or property.
Supervise children at all times.
The Olive Fields reserves the right to refuse admission.
The Olive Fields is a smoke-free zone.
